The British American Foundation of Texas (BAFTX) helps high-achieving, financially challenged Texas students pursue college education. Since 2007, BAFTX has empowered talented individuals to become leaders in STEM and business, transforming their lives and communities. Although students are bright and motivated, many of them face financial barriers they cannot overcome alone. It is through the support of individuals and organizations, like Spindletop, that makes their success possible with external funding!
BAFTX awarded 137 scholarships to students across Texas in 2025, representing a 34% increase in scholarship recipients compared to 2024.
For the past four years, Spindletop has been an avid supporter of the Women in STEM scholarship, offering annual financial aid to women pursuing careers in a range of STEM disciplines. This year, we are proud to have sponsored five talented young women in their STEM journeys.
