Spindletop partnered with the Christian Community Service Center, Kids’ Meals and Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston for the Fifth Annual Spindletop Virtual Food Drive. Volunteers had the opportunity to contribute via an Amazon Wish List, outlining the most critical needs of families facing food insecurity and poverty. This year’s initiative resulted in the collection of more than 2,000 pounds of food. These donations provided underserved children with essential nutritious foods to fuel them physically.

Contributions included non-perishable foods such as soups, pasta, beans, baby food & formula, peanut butter, and canned fruits & vegetables, along with important basic needs like soap, diapers and toilet paper. This outpouring of generosity made a significant impact on the well-being of many children and their families in need.
