The Spindletop Mardi Gras Celebration is rich in tradition! Held on the Friday night prior to the Lenten Season’s Ash Wednesday and during the excitement of the Mardi Gras season, 250 guests arrived at the beautiful Crystal Ballroom located in the historic Rice Hotel.
Upon arrival, they were greeted by fortune tellers, caricature artists, jazz entertainers, and strolling magicians. The festivities continued throughout the evening with Louisiana dancing tunes, delicious
Cajun cuisine, and enjoyable and creative collaborative art, thanks to Painting With A Twist. The famous “Spindletop Mardi Gras Game” is exciting until the end!
