As I reflect on 2025, my heart is filled with gratitude for the extraordinary community that surrounds Spindletop. Every day, we witness the realities faced by Houston’s children — the hurdles they navigate, the hopes they carry and the courage they show despite circumstances that no child should have to overcome alone. For those growing up in poverty or in underserved neighborhoods, even the simplest dreams can feel out of reach. And yet, because of you, those dreams grow a little closer to fruition.
At Spindletop, we believe deeply in the power of possibility. When a child is given safety, guidance, and opportunity, something remarkable happens: confidence takes root; potential unfolds; and an entirely new future becomes imaginable. This is the work you make possible. Through your generosity and compassion, you help us lift burdens, open doors, and remind each child that their life has value and promise.
The work we do represents so much more than services — it represents moments of hope, healing, and transformation. And behind every moment is someone like you, choosing to care. The energy industry’s long-standing commitment to Houston’s youth is nothing short of inspiring, and it is an honor to witness what happens when our community joins hands to protect and uplift its youngest members.
