Spindletop Community Impact Partners was proud to partner with Audubon Companies in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, bringing employees together across multiple cities for a day of service, teamwork, and community impact. Volunteers worked side by side in their respective offices in Houston, Metairie, Pittsburgh, Columbia, Midland and Tulsa to assemble goodie bags that motivated and encouraged young girls served by Girls Inc. of Greater Houston to be strong, smart and bold.
The event highlighted the power of collaboration as participants dedicated their time and talents to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, while also hearing from Spindletop Executive Director Lia Vallone and Girls Inc. of Greater Houston CEO Treopia Cannon. Collectively, all offices assembled 660 goodie bags for elementary, middle and high school girls filled with school supplies, a sensory stress reliever and encouraging notes.
Through hands-on volunteer activities, attendees strengthened connections with one another while supporting Spindletop’s mission of creating brighter futures across the Greater Houston community.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Audubon Companies and every volunteer who contributed to the success of this event. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and commitment to giving back continue to inspire positive change and demonstrate the lasting impact that can be achieved when organizations unite in service to the community. We’ll make this milestone celebration a tremendous success and look forward to continuing this legacy for many years to come.
