The 60th Annual Spindletop Golf Tournament marked a historic milestone, celebrating six decades of bringing together the energy industry to make a lasting difference for Houston’s children and families. Since its founding in 1966, the tournament has grown into the world’s largest energy industry charitable golf tournament, thanks to the dedication of the Spindletop Golf Ambassadors, volunteers, sponsors, and participants.
Tournament weekend began with the annual Celebration Party, where golfers, sponsors, and guests enjoyed an evening at The Manor House of great food, live entertainment, and fellowship while celebrating Spindletop’s 60-year legacy of giving back. The excitement continued at Memorial Park Golf Course, where teams competed over two days of friendly competition, networking, and unforgettable memories.
This year’s tournament featured outstanding performances on the course, including remarkable individual and team achievements, while participants enjoyed contests, prizes, and the camaraderie that has defined Spindletop for generations. The tournament also recognized the continued generosity of our sponsors and volunteers, whose support makes this event possible year after year.
Thanks to the incredible commitment of our donors, golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, the 60th Annual Spindletop Golf Tournament raised over $430,000 to support programs that improve the lives of Houston-area children and families. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this milestone celebration a tremendous success and look forward to continuing this legacy for many years to come.
