For the second year in a row, Transocean partnered with Kids’ Meals, a non-profit organization that delivers free, healthy meals to preschool-aged children, to have a volunteer day with their summer interns and leadership team. The Transocean volunteers dispersed between 4 tables to see which team could make the most peanut butter sandwiches. Each meal was carefully assembled to provide children with a balanced lunch, helping to fuel their growth, learning, and thriving.
Collectively, the group made 5,725 sandwiches for food insecure children to enjoy during their summer holiday; however, the table who made the most sandwiches came in at 1,747 – a huge accomplishment all around!
