Spindletop Community Impact Partners proudly joined Urban Harvest for Dig It Day 2026, bringing together volunteers of all ages for a day dedicated to growing healthier communities through hands-on service. Participants worked alongside Urban Harvest staff to prepare garden beds, spread mulch, plant vegetables, and improve community garden spaces that provide fresh, nutritious food and educational opportunities for local families and children in HISD schools.

The event welcomed employees, community members, and young volunteers, creating a meaningful opportunity for families to learn about sustainable gardening while giving back together. Through teamwork and a shared commitment to service, volunteers helped cultivate spaces that will continue to benefit the community long after the event.

We are deeply grateful for Urban Harvest, our dedicated volunteers, and everyone who contributed their time and energy to this inspiring day of service. Together, we are helping grow stronger communities, promote healthy living, and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
