In October, Flowserve Corporation held their 5th Annual Spindletop Connections Event with The Children’s Assessment Center (The CAC). The important work of The CAC is guided by the belief that all children in our community deserve to grow up safe, happy and healthy, and that begins with child victims of sexual abuse and their parents entering a warm, inviting environment that will set them on a path of healing. Flowserve Corporation has taken on the task year-after-year to ensure the surroundings of the building are aesthetically pleasing to anyone who enters the doors of The CAC.
They make this possible by gathering approximately 30 volunteers to powerwash, landscape, and paint the perimeter of the building, culminating in beautiful flowers, fresh grass and clean pavements to bring a sense of peace and beauty to the facility.
