For 30 years, Spindletop has provided integral funding to Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) and their steadfast efforts to provide the best possible substance abuse recovery treatment for teens free of charge. PDAP is a youth-driven program for adolescents and young adults who are looking to overcome substance abuse and mental health concerns. PDAP not only provides guidance on how to live a healthy, fun, and sober lifestyle, but it also creates an alternative peer group for PDAP members, thus giving them a safe and secure environment to implement change & build lifelong friendships.
In October, Spindletop Community Impact Partners was honored at PDAP’s 5th Annual Champions for Recovery Breakfast. This special recognition is a testament to the ongoing partnership the two organizations have had for three decades. Spindletop is proud to invest its resources year-after-year to this extraordinary organization that continuously helps teens facing addiction find a light at the end of the tunnel and gives them the tools needed to maintain and enjoy a life of sobriety. Spindletop extends its sincere thanks to the Board of Directors and staff of PDAP for this award!
