Weatherford employees and their families enjoyed a beautiful day in November at Sam Houston Race Park. This annual event, hosted by Weatherford International, is unique in that the attendees have the rare occasion to walk the horse race track, followed by family enjoyment and great food and activities for all ages. This year, Weatherford included Spindletop Charities, Inc. as one of the four local organizations to benefit from the event. Thanks to the Weatherford employees for helping to donate more than $88,000 to each charity. Others joining Spindletop on stage in receiving a generous check from Weatherford President Mark McCollum were Camp Hope, Small Steps Nurturing Center and Houston Area Women’s Center, all also recipients of the 2019 Spindletop Toy Drive. Weatherford has been supporting Spindletop for more than 40 years, and the Weatherford Walks event is a fun tribute to our partnership. Thank you, Weatherford!
