Spindletop is proud to announce its scholarship recipient 2018 from the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Jorge Garcia is a graduate of Westbury High School in Houston and will attend Texas A & M University. He plans to major in Computer Engineering. More than 400 scholarships were designated through HLSR this year. More than 2,000 students are attending more than 80 different Texas colleges and universities on Show Scholarships. www.hlsr.org
