Girls Inc. of Greater Houston’s mission is to inspire all girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold. They do this on an outreach basis through a variety of programming that focuses on math and science, health and wellness, economic literacy, empowerment, and anti-bullying programming. Spindletop’s support has focused on the middle school science clubs encouraging girls to pursue STEM careers. Receiving the Vanguard Award was Spindletop Executive Director Constance White surrounded by her strong, smart and bold Spindletop friends and volunteers.
